Residential Burglary

10/21/2009 West A-Shift, Patrol
1000 block Villa Place. Victim reported that when she returned home she observed her house in disarray. Victim reported that unknown suspects threw a rock thru the bedroom side window, directly over the HVAC unit. Missing are, Nintendo WII, 32" Samsung flat panel w/DVD player, Dell laptop computer, McIntosh laptop, Magnavox 15" flat panel, Panasonic 40 flat panel. The suspects then fled out the back door

10/22/09, 2600 block of Wayland Ct, Victim left his home at 6:40pm and returned 10/23/09 at midnight and found that someone had broke into the home. The back window was pried open and a number of items stolen.

10/22/2009 West B-Shift, Patrol
4100 block of Idaho Avenue, between 2:00-2:10pm. The victim at this residence reported that an unknown suspect threw a rock through the rear bedroom window and crawled in. The suspect(s) then took a laptop computer and exited through the sliding glass doors in the bedroom.


10/22/2009 West A-Shift, Patrol
100 block of Matthew Lane, Victim reports coming to her townhouse and discovered the burglary, Toshiba laptop, Westinghouse 32" LCD TV.

3500 block of Elkins Ave. Victim reports the break-in of her home. Stolen was a HP Pavilion laptop, Apple I- Book 12" laptop.


Theft from Motor Vehicle

10/22/2009 West C-Shift, Patrol10/22/2009 West A-Shift, Patrol
6535 Premier Dr (Apartment Complex) Victim reports his vehicle was broken into between 10/21/09 10:00are and 10-22-09 11:00am. The passenger window was broken out and the radio was taken.

Motor Vehicle Theft
500 block of Starliner Dr. Victim reports that his vehicle was parked in his driveway with the doors unlocked. When victim came out this morning the vehicle was gone. A witness heard a truck around 5:30am.








Significant Arrest

10/21/2009 West B-Shift, Patrol
A 41 year old Male White was arrested in the area of Archer St and Southside Ct. While patrolling the Edge Hill homes area Officers Sears and Brickman checked the Florida license plate on a vehicle, the license plate on the vehicle was listed as stolen. The above subject parked the car and walked into the house at 1035B Archer Street. The subject came back outside and spoke with the Officers. After being Mirandized, the suspect stated he was loaned the vehicle in exchange for drugs. The suspect was charged with Motor Vehicle Theft and Driving without a license.

10/22/2009 West A-Shift, Flex Unit
(Theft of Property) Officers Falcone and Morris were proactively patrolling the area and observed 4 Homeless subjects walking near the 1500 block of Charlotte Ave., one was carrying an electric power drill. Officers conducted a Terry Stop (stop & frisk) and inquired about the drill. Subject advised he used the tool in his work. The officers previously observed the subjects coming from direction of Capital View Pawn and were able to ascertain that the drill was stolen from the pawn shop. Subject was arrested for theft of property.

The same Officers heard the police dispatch put out a pick-up of theft of beer from Hermitage area at 5800 Old Hickory Blvd. Officers were patrolling the area around Little Sam's Market at 12th & Wedge wood Ave., the officers observed a subject carrying several cases of beer, enter the market. Officers checked the description of suspect involved in the beer theft from the Hermitage area beer runs and was able to arrest and charge the subject with theft of 7 cases of beer.
